Cricket fans around the world eagerly anticipated the 2023 Cricket World Cup, which India hosted and which turned out to be a fantastic and captivating competition. In this year, there is ten teams viz. India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Netherland, England & South Africa contending for the prized trophy in the cricket ICC world cup.
During the group stage of the event, each team played every other team in a round-robin format, producing a total of 48 matches. The top four teams then proceeded to the semi-finals and the championship game. This structure made sure that there was intense competition and excitement throughout the whole tournament.
The ICC World Cup 2023 is scheduled to start on October 5 and end on November 19 in India. The opening game will take place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium between reigning world champions England and first-place finishers New Zealand.
In ten distinct stadiums spread over ten different Indian cities, the competition is being held. While the final will be staged in Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the first and second semi-finals will take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and Eden Gardens in Kolkata, respectively.[
